McCain Suspends Campaign to Help With Bailout
by FOXNews.com

John McCain will suspend his presidential campaign Thursday and has asked to postpone his debate Friday with Barack Obama so the two senators can return to Washington to help negotiate a Wall Street bailout, an approach that Obama promptly rejected.

“America this week faces an historic crisis in our financial system,” McCain said in mid-afternoon remarks to reporters in New York. “If we do not act, every corner of our country will be impacted. We cannot allow this to happen.”

The Liberal Media is trying to spin this decison by McCain and say McCain is posturing with this decision. Well I got news for you Liberal Media; it’s NOT political. Its the fact that McCain wants what is best for this Country above what he wants for himself. What is best for this Country is something that the Democrats and Republican politicians have seemed to forgotten with their politics as usual bullshit.

I am hearing reports of another Great Depression on the morning news. Can our Congress put politics aside and prevent this from happening as John McCain has? I doubt it.

In my opinion, with this decision, John McCain has proved he is ready to be President and will make decisions based on what is best for this Country and not politics as usual.

And that is how I see it.

great decision and the liberal media is trying to curve the story because they know deep down inside it's the right decision to do. I picked up 750 shares from aig last week at above 2 dollars it went up to 5.64 but is back at 3 because they haven't approved the 750 mil. I'm sure it will go through and this stock will shoot up.

Well, what many people and the MSM forget is BOTH candidates are STILL USA Senators and obligated to perform their function they're both being paid for. Yes during an election. Candidates are given more liberity in not being available. But something of this nature. Everyone needs to be present.

And just to let people know. This purported economic criss is not nearly as bad as the Media and Politians are making out to be. Yes, it's pretty bad but not nearly close to a depression. Most of Obamas speeches, lectures and advertising commercials are negative. He wants people to believe things are the worse they can be and close to collapse. So, whomever does something to help this problem as little as it is done. It will appear as if the candidate did something huge and they appear as a hero or saving our economy. I can think of at least 6 problems that were just as bad if not worse. And our nation weathered out the storm. As we'll get through this. We are on our knees current and in time we'll be standing strong again.

And Geo, your smart in getting stock at bargin prices because in a few years when they rebound...you'll make a nice profit. Geo, look into getting GE, Ford or GM. There stocks are $9 or lower. Get like 300 shares and it will go up and possible double within 3 yrs...especially GE. They always rebound big time when the stock market comes back.

Also, a great time to buy proverty. As in undeveloped land, pre-foreclosure and foreclosed homes. Since real estate always appreciates evenually. Back in 1977 thru 1979. Real estate was going through a similar problem it's experience currently. And then it rebounded and continued to rise constantly till this house problem occurred. So, if people can afford it. I suggest you look into this. And if you purchase a home. Simply rent it out in which the renter will cover your mortgage payment and even put possibly an extra 100 or 200 bucks in ur pocket per month. I have done this with great success. Since so many people are being foreclosed on. They're not candidates to purchase another home and have to rent. Shit rent the house back to them once you purchase it from. I did that in one transaction. Since I put a lot down on the house. My mortgage was cheaper than what they were paying. With the $250 added onto the rental price (which covers my mortg,), these people didnt have to pack up and move. And I am making a little profit per month and they cover my mortg. monthly payment. Just a suggestion.

Though loans are difficult to acquire currently it can be done. Just not these funky weird loans. If you have the money, good credit, and a low debt to earning ratio. You will qualify for a good fixed loan. And fixed rates are at 6% which is good, considering the financial markets.
