ISREAL HAS THE BALLS TO STAND UP TO TERRORISM

Israeli Forces Launch Attacks in Gaza
Wednesday, June 28, 2006
FOX NEWS

RAFAH, Gaza Strip — Israel sent warplanes to bomb a Hamas training camp after knocking out electricity and water supplies for most of the 1.3 million residents of the Gaza Strip Wednesday in an effort to pressure Palestinian militants to release a captive Israeli soldier.

Palestinians readied weapons and fortified positions in preparation for a major strike after Israel sent troops and tanks across the border just after midnight local time.

Israeli warplanes repeatedly fired missiles at open fields in northern Gaza to keep militants from launching rockets from the area, the military said. Israeli forces also attacked a rocket-manufacturing factory in southern Gaza.

No casualties have been reported as a result of the Israeli attacks.

Witnesses said Israeli aircraft dropped at least two large bombs on a Hamas training camp in Rafah. The Israel Defense Forces had no immediate comment.

It was Israel's first ground offensive since pulling its soldiers and settlers out of Gaza last summer. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Israel would not balk at “extreme action” to bring Cpl. Gilad Shalit, 19 home but did not intend to reoccupy Gaza.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas deplored the incursion as a "crime against humanity," and a leading Hamas politician issued a call to arms against the Israeli troops. (Of course it is not a crime to kidnap people. What hypocrites.)

Meanwhile, concerns about the fate of a missing West Bank settler grew after militants claiming to hold him displayed what they said was a copy of his identification card.
Israeli tanks and soldiers began taking up positions east of Rafah overnight under cover of tank shells, witnesses and Palestinian security officials said. Capt. Jacob Dallal, a military spokesman, said troops moved a mile inside the coastal strip.

Israeli warplanes fired at least nine missiles at Gaza's only power station, cutting electricity to 65 percent of the Gaza Strip, engineers at the station said. The station's three functioning turbines and a gasoline reservoir were engulfed in flames.

Wasfi Kabha, the Palestinian minister of prisoner affairs in the Hamas, said that the Israeli attacks were creating a "humanitarian crisis."

"They hit the bridges, they hit the power station, so there will be a problem in water supply and health services," he told the British Broadcasting Corp.

The Israeli military said in a statement that three bridges were attacked "to impair the ability of the terrorists to transfer the kidnapped soldier." Knocking down the bridges cut Gaza in two, Palestinian security officials said.

Witnesses reported heavy artillery shelling near the long-closed Gaza airport outside of Rafah, just over the border with Israel. In Rafah, a shack where militants produced and stored rockets was on fire after Israel attacked it, witnesses said.

Warplanes, meanwhile, flew low over the strip, rocking it with sonic booms and shattering windows. And troops in Israel backed up the assault, firing artillery into Gaza.

"We won't hesitate to carry out extreme action to bring Gilad back to his family," Olmert said. "All the military activity that started overnight will continue in the coming days."

"We do not intend to reoccupy Gaza. We have one objective, and that is to bring Gilad home."

Olmert repeated that Israel will not negotiate Shalit's release with militant groups.
Shalit was taken captive Sunday during an attack on a southern Israeli military post by militants affiliated with the Palestinians' ruling Hamas party. The Palestinian government has called for the soldier's release, but Israel believes the group's Syria-based leaders ordered the operation.

Israeli Justice Minister Haim Ramon said Hamas's Syria-based political chief, Khaled Mashaal, was "not immune" from Israeli reprisal.

"Khaled Mashaal, as someone who is overseeing, actually commanding the terror acts, is definitely a target," Ramon, an Olmert confidant, told Army Radio. The station interpreted his comments as meaning Mashaal was a target for assassination.
Ramon told Israel Radio in a separate interview that he believed diplomacy had run its course.

Abbas deplored the Israeli invasion in a statement.

"The president considers the aggression that targeted the civilian infrastructures to be collective punishment and a crime against humanity," the statement said.

Abbas, it added, urged the U.S. and international Mideast negotiators to intervene to halt the operation.

An aide said Abbas called Syrian President Bashar Assad to ask him to persuade Mashaal to free the soldier. Assad promised to do so, the aide said on condition of anonymity because he was discussing private talks.

Deputy Prime Minister Nasser Shaer of Hamas said his government, too, was trying to resolve the situation diplomatically, but he would not say whether that involved direct contact with Israel.

"We call for an immediate halt to the invasion, and urge that the soldier's life be spared," Shaer said.

Residents of northern Gaza, preparing for what they feared could be a long military operation, stocked up on food, batteries for radios and candles.

But the normally bustling streets in southern Gaza, where the invasion was launched, were eerily deserted, with people taking refuge inside their homes.
The Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt — Gaza's main link to the outside world — has been closed since Sunday's attack. Usually, there is some activity in the area, even when the passage is closed, but Wednesday it was empty.

Israeli troops, backed by tanks, took over the Gaza airport. Dozens of people living near the airport left their homes, seeking sanctuary in nearby Rafah.

A small grocery near the airport was open, but no one was inside except the owner, 45-year-old Allah Abu Jazr.

"All options are open, but let's hope this crisis will pass," Abu Jazr said. "We want the soldier to return home, just as we want our prisoners to come home."
Militants said they fired rockets early Wednesday at the Israeli village of Nahal Oz, the Israeli forces' staging area, and at other Israeli targets.

Dallal said the army was prepared for a long operation, and "everything is on the table."
The militants who seized Shalit have demanded the release of hundreds of Palestinian women and children held in Israeli jails in exchange for information about the captured soldier.
Trying to defuse building tensions, negotiators from the ruling Hamas movement said Tuesday they had accepted a document that Abbas allies say implicitly recognizes Israel. But Mashaal's No. 2, Moussa Abu Marzouk, denied a final deal had been reached.

Shalit's abduction Sunday by Hamas' military wing and two other Hamas-linked groups has threatened to turn already devastated relations between Israel and the Hamas-led government into all-out war. Hamas took over the Palestinian Authority after winning parliamentary elections in January, and has been under international pressure to renounce violence and recognize Israel.

Complicating matters was a new claim by the Hamas-linked Popular Resistance Committees, one of the three groups that carried out Sunday's assault, that it had also kidnapped a Jewish settler, 18-year-old Eliahu Asheri, in the West Bank.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said the report was being taken "very seriously."
At a news conference at a Gaza City mosque on Wednesday, PRC militants displayed what they said was a copy of Asheri's identification card, and reiterated threats to kill him if Israel did not end its Gaza invasion.

A spokesman for the group also warned that the PRC had just begun its campaign to seize soldiers.

"The operation of kidnapping soldiers has started and is in a countdown," spokesman Mohammed Abdel Al said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

If anyone has the Balls to stand up to these terrorist, it is Israel. Personally I think that we should never give into terrorist who kidnap and murder people for their Cause or God. Muslims, get it though your head….IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR FAMILIES, HOMES AND BUSINESES IN DANGER DON’T KIDNAP PEOPLE AND HARBOR TERRORISTS AND LET THEM HIDE AMONG YOUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN OR IN YOUR HOMES OR BUSINESSES OR EVEN IN YOUR MOSQUES. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

I got this email from my Coptic friend in Egypt this afternoon and I am going to share it with you. This is just another way that Christians are treated in Muslim Countries. It is the way Muslims would have it be if they could to all of us that will not become Muslim. And you wonder why I hate Islam so much? Muslims have absolutely no tolerance for any other religion. That is the "no compulsion" of Islam.

I am telling something just happened to me 2 hours ago. I do this every week. I go to 3 poor towns around my town to teach the Christian kids there about the Bible, Jesus etc. etc. etc. I am a teacher in the Sunday School there I go to a town on Friday and 2 towns on Sunday. They (The Christians there) are living in danger because in these poor towns there are a lot of Muslim groups trying to make these Christians convert to the Islam. So what I am doing is against what they (the Muslims) are doing. They want them convert and I teach the kids about how be strong against them. So these 3 groups sent to me a message to tell me I have to stop going to their towns. But I don’t know how they knew my home address but they sent me these letters. Maybe the police are helping these groups as they help the other groups who rape the Christian girls and force them to convert to the Islam.

Well I did not think about that and kept going there. So today when I was in the car with the other friends who goes with me; they teach the older kids and 2 of them teach the parents and the others who teach the teenagers. We were all in the car to go home when we heard a lot voices yelling and saying Allah Akber and we heard a noise of guns firing. So my friend who was driving the car sped away. They shot the car and broke the back lamps and the back glass of the car. but my friend kept driving the car. After we went far away we looked at the car they had shot it in a lot places. Anyway I am ok and my freinds are ok thanks be to God! And I want say some thing; we are still alive so we won’t stop going to thes towns

Christian Girls Kidnapped In Egypt And Forced To Convert To Islam
From http://www.crossrhythms.co.uk

Reports of kidnappings and the forced conversion of Christian girls to Islam are common among Egypt's Coptic community. Only three months ago, Theresa Ghattas Kamal, missing since 6 January and feared kidnapped by a Muslim man, was found living with a Muslim family. Wearing the full veil, she told her brother that she had 'found the right path' - Islam. Please pray for these girls and remember the ones who go unnoticed.

Military Confirms Bodies Are of Missing GIs
Tuesday, June 20, 2006
FOX NEWS

Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston

U.S. Army Pfc. Thomas Lowell Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore.

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The bodies of two U.S. soldiers who were reported missing have been recovered, and an Iraqi official said Tuesday the men were "killed in a barbaric way."

At a press conference in Baghdad, U.S. military spokesman Maj. Gen. William Caldwell confirmed that the remains, found late Monday by U.S. troops, were believed to be those of Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore.Caldwell said the cause of death was "undeterminable" and that DNA tests would be conducted to verify the identities.

The two disappeared after an attack Friday at a traffic checkpoint outside the city of Youssifiyah, just south of Baghdad. Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Mass., was killed in the attack. The three men were assigned to the 502nd Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division from Fort Campbell, Ky.

May these brave Heros Rest In Peace and my heart and prayers go out to thier grieving famlies.

Something that really bothers me here, we are supposed to just accept that 3 of our military have been killed, murdered by an Islamic Hate Group; yet our military can be put on trial for fighting back like in Haditha? Something is very messed up here. Are we supposed to just send our Military into a War Zone and tell them they cannot fight back. WAKE UP YOU IGNORANT POLITICAL CORRECT CROWD! This is war! Let our Military do its job and stop your caving to Islamic Hate Groups that want to make a big deal about when our Military kills people in self defense but would murder any of us if given the chance. You are playing right into the hands of the Terrorists when you cave to Islamic Hate Groups’ outcry about stuff like this. Maybe all you bleeding heart Liberals are on the Terrorist side. Maybe you wouldn’t mind living under Shira Law, but I won’t do it. GET A GRIP LIBERALS! It is your stupid pressure about our soldiers fighting back that is getting them killed. You Liberals act like you are so concerned about our Military deaths in Iraq, but it just isn't credible when you turn around and tie thier hands where they can't fight back or won't send them body armor. Your hypocrasy is unbelieveable and no one is buying it.

On A Lighter Note:

Turkish TV denies piglet ban
Breitbart News

Jun 18 5:43 AM US/Eastern

Turkey's public broadcaster has denied reports that it has banned the popular Walt Disney cartoon "Winnie the Pooh" because one of the main characters in the show is a piglet.

Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) said late Saturday media reports that "Winnie the Pooh" and other cartoons featuring pigs had been barred "are untrue and aim to discredit the institutioIn a statement carried by the Anatolia news agency, TRT said it had acquired the exclusive right to broadcast Walt Disney's cartoons and movies in Turkey but added, "the Walt Disney materials have not been acquired yet... (and) therefore the cartoon 'Winnie the Pooh' does not exist in TRT records and archives".

Islam regards pigs as unclean and prohibits the consumption of pork.

TRT is controlled by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's Islamist-rooted government, which is under fire for seeking to raise the profile of Islam in mainly Muslim but strictly secular Turkey.

Newspapers had reported earlier Saturday that TRT had considered scissoring the scenes showing Piglet, but abandoned the idea because the character appeared too often and decided to bar the cartoon altogether from its screens.

"Winnie the Pooh" has been aired on other channels in Turkey and videos and DVDs of the programme are on sale there.

TRT said the deal with Walt Disney, worth about 880,000 dollars (696,000 euros), would supply the station with cartoons to run for almost four years.

Employees have recently complained of increasing government intervention in TRT's broadcasting policy, including the appointment of ruling party cronies to key posts at the institution, which has several television and radio channels.

NUCLEAR WAR-FEAR
Ayatollah's grandson callsfor U.S. overthrow of Iran'My grandfather's revolution has devouredits children and has strayed from its course'
WorldNetDaily
Posted: June 18, 2006
1:00 a.m. Eastern

An Iranian Shia cleric – and grandson of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, the father of the 1979 Iranian Revolution who dubbed the U.S. the "Great Satan" – has called on the President Bush to "come and occupy Iran" and "break the prison [doors open]."

Speaking from the Shia holy city of Qom, Hossein Khomeini, in an interview marking the 17th anniversary of the ayatollah's death, blasted the current regime and it's alleged quest for nuclear weapons and called for freedom to come to Iran.

"My grandfather's revolution has devoured its children and has strayed from its course," he told Al-Arabiya, a Dubai-based Arabic-language station. "I lived through the revolution and it called for freedom and democracy – but it has persecuted its leaders."

He dismisses the clerics who inherited power from the revolution as "wearers of the turban" and accuses them of abusing their power.

Khomeini made headlines in 2003 when he criticized the Islamic Republic during a visit to Washington and New York, where he called for an armed invasion of Iran. He avoided retaliation from the regime when he returned to Iran due to the protection of his grandfather's widow, but media organizations were banned from interviewing him. The hardline opposition to the Ahmadinejad government, expressed in the Al-Arabiya interview, is the first time he's broken his silence in three years.

Iran will gain real power if freedom and democracy develop there," Khomeini said, adding that if he came to power, one of his first acts would be to make wearing of the Muslim veil optional for Iranian women. "Strength will not be obtained through weapons and the bomb."
As for his call for the U.S. military to occupy his country, he said, "Freedom must come to Iran in any possible way, whether through internal or external developments. If you were a prisoner, what would you do? I want someone to break the prison [doors open]."

Khomeini's opposition is more hardline than that of Iranian exile groups who've called for the U.S. to back a domestic uprising while opposing foreign military intervention, noted the London Telegraph.

Another well-know dissident who also opposes Khomeini's desire for U.S. military action is Reza Pahlavi, son of the the late shah. Pahlavi told Time Magazine he could not imagine the U.S. invading Iran.

"I cannot foresee any military action which could be feasible," he said. "The thought of foreign tanks rolling into Tehran is beyond imagination. No Iranian could tolerate an invasion. It would be an attack on our homeland. Even limited air strikes: If you want to alienate people, strike the first blow."

More On The Two Missing Soldiers

On further research of the two missing soldiers, I ran across this Milirary, Terrorism, Iraq Blog. Here is excepts of what I found:

DoD Names Missing Soldiers: Pvt. Kristian Menchaca and Pvt. Thomas Tucker
Monday June 19th 2006 Filed under:
Military, Terrorism, Iraq

Pvt. Kristian Menchaca, 23, from Houston, and Pvt. Thomas Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore., were last seen on Friday during an attack on a roadside checkpoint south of Baghdad.

Another solider, David Babineau, 25, of Springfield, Mass., was killed in the attack.

An Iraqi farmer said he saw seven heavily armed gunmen capture the two soldiers.

The White House is promising to do everything it can to find the men.

Some background on the men is starting to emerge:

“He enjoys being in the military,” Christina Menchaca said of her husband, whom she last heard from by e-mail on Tuesday. “That’s basically what he wants to do.”

Kristian Menchaca’s mother, Maria Vasquez of Brownsville, said soldiers had visited to tell her that her son was missing.

She said she last heard from her son a few weeks ago. Along with asking for some treats from home, like Cheetos and cleaning wipes, the soldier told his mother he was working at a checkpoint.

“I’m a little bit nervous, and I cannot sleep,” she said. “I worry about him.”

Please continue to keep these soldiers and their families in your prayers.

Al Aqeda-Linked Group Claims Kidnapping of GI’s
Monday, June 19, 2006
Associated Press

BAGHDAD, Iraq –
An umbrella group that includes Al Qaeda in Iraq claimed in a Web statement Monday that it had kidnapped two U.S. Soldiers reported missing south of Baghdad.

There was no immediate confirmation that the statement was credible, although it appeared on a Web site often used by Al Qaeda-linked groups. U.S. officials have said they were trying to confirm whether the missing soldiers were kidnapped.

Your brothers in the military wing of the Mujahedeen Shura Council kidnapped the two American soldiers near Youssifiya," the group said in a statement posted on an Islamic Web site

The Web site did not name the soldiers.

The U.S. military said Monday that seven American troops have been wounded, three insurgents have been killed and 34 detained during an intensive search for two soldiers.
Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a spokesman for U.S. forces in Iraq, said fighter jets, unmanned aerial vehicles and dive teams have been deployed to find the two men. The men went missing Friday during an attack on their checkpoint in the volatile Sunni area south of Baghdad that left one of their comrades dead.

“We have surged intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance platforms and employed planes, boats, helicopters and UAVs to ensure the most thorough search possible on the ground, in the air and in the water," Caldwell said in a statement issued Monday.

He did not comment on reports that the two men had been seized by insurgents, saying only that they were listed as "duty status and whereabouts unknown." He said seven other U.S. service members had been wounded in action during the search efforts that began Friday night.

The Defense Department identified the missing men as Pfc. Kristian Menchaca, 23, of Houston, and Pfc. Thomas L. Tucker, 25, of Madras, Ore. It said Spc. David J. Babineau, 25, Springfield, Mass., was killed in the attack. The three were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
Caldwell said more than 8,000 U.S. and Iraqi troops were participating in the search.
"While searching for our soldiers, we have engaged in a number of significant actions against the anti-Iraqi forces," he said, adding that three insurgents had been killed and 34 taken into custody.

He also said the military had received 63 tips and had launched 12 cordon and search operations, eight air assaults and 280 flight hours were logged.

"Approximately 12 villages have been cleared in the area, and we continue to engage local citizens for help and information leading to the whereabouts of our soldiers," he said, without elaborating.

Two things bothered me about this article. The first, why was a dive team deplored to search for these missing soldiers? When I looked at a map of Iraq there does appear to be a River that runs east of Baghdad and two lakes one North West of Baghdad and one South West of Baghdad. Does the U.S. military think the kidnappers have dumped the soldier’s bodies in one of these bodies of water? It seems to me that this Terrorist Group would keep them alive and torture them and most likely behead them on video as much as I hate to think about it.

The second thing that bothered me was the name of one of the missing, Kristian Menchaca. I thought Kristian was a girl’s name? Why say it was a man kidnapped if it was a woman? Either way, one of our Heroes was killed and two are missing. We need to keep the two that are missing in our prayers, if they have not been killed who knows what horrors they are enduring. Pray for their safety and for Devine strength and for their safe release. Also pray for the families of the Hero we lost and of the ones captured. It must be horrible for them.

YOU WON'T HEAR THIS SONG IN A PUBLIC BROADCAST:

In March 2005, this song was performed at a Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered politically incorrect.

However, they are still going to send it out as a release with video to GAC TV on July 4th. Hopefully it will get airplay at that time!If this song speaks to your heart and you want to share it with friends and loved ones, please do.

Then, regardless of our ethnic origin, let us cease being the silent majority and join together. Not as a particular political party, but as Americans!

With Independence Day coming soon; I decided to put up a video my friend Des sent to me. Enjoy!

News From Iraq

Here is some excepts from and an Article I read on World Net Daily:

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Iraq's national security adviser said Thursday a "huge treasure" of documents and computer records was seized after the raid on terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's hideout, giving the Iraqi government the upper hand in its fight against al-Qaida in Iraq.

National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie also said he believed the security situation in the country would improve enough to allow a large number of U.S.-led forces to leave Iraq by the end of this year, and a majority to depart by the end of next year. "And maybe the last soldier will leave Iraq by mid-2008," he said.

Al-Rubaie said a laptop, flashdrive and other documents were found in the debris after the airstrike that killed the al-Qaida in Iraq leader last week outside Baqouba, and more information has been uncovered in raids of other insurgent hideouts since then.
He called it a "huge treasure ... a huge amount of information."

When asked how he could be sure the information was authentic, al-Rubaie said "there is nothing more authentic than finding a thumbdrive in his pocket."

"We believe that this is the beginning of the end of al-Qaida in Iraq," al-Rubaie said, adding that the documents showed al-Qaida is in "pretty bad shape," politically and in terms of training, weapons and media. (We can hope this is the end of al_Qaida.)

"Now we have the upper hand," he said at a news conference in Baghdad. "We feel that we know their locations, the names of their leaders, their whereabouts, their movements, through the documents we found during the last few days."

….gunmen stormed a Sunni mosque near Tikrit, killing four people and wounding 15, including a fundamentalist Sunni cleric who has spoken out against the killing of Iraqis as part of the insurgency. (Typical “Islamic Justice.” Don’t ever think for yourself or say Clerics do wrong, they will kill you.)

In addition to announcing the security crackdown, al-Maliki opened the door Wednesday for talks with insurgents opposed to the country's political process as part of a national reconciliation initiative, but he said any negotiations would exclude terrorist groups. The plan could include a pardon for some prisoners. (I do have to question how letting criminals go will promote peace. I have never understood this concept.).

In the meantime there is some even better news coming out of Iraq:

Post-al-Zarqawi Raids Kill 104 Insurgents
By KIM GAMEL Associated Press Writer

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) -- American and Iraqi forces have carried out 452 raids since last week's killing of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and 104 insurgents were killed during those actions, the U.S. military said Thursday.

Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, said the raids were carried out nationwide and led to the discovery of 28 significant arms caches.

He said 255 of the raids were joint operations, while 143 were carried out by Iraqi forces alone. The raids also resulted in the captures of 759 "anti-Iraqi elements."

Al Muhajir Zarqawi’s Successor

DUBAI: Al Qaeda in Iraq named a successor following the killing of the group’s leader Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, according to an Internet statement on Monday.

“The Shura Council of Al Qaeda in Iraq unanimously agreed on Sheikh Abu Hamza Al Muhajir, to be a successor to Sheikh Abu Musab Al Zarqawi,” said a statement signed by Al Qaeda and posted on a website frequently used by Islamist militants.

“Sheikh Abu Hamza Al Muhajir is a good brother, has a history in jihad and is knowledgeable. We ask God that he continue what Sheikh Abu Musab began,” it said.

Muhajir, little known in the West, was not among the names that Al Qaeda experts had expected as Zarqawi’s likely successor.

Zarqawi was killed in an air strike north of Baquba on June 8. He was said to have been in meeting with associates at the time. The Jordanian-born Sunni Arab militant was blamed for some of Iraq’s bloodiest attacks since US forces invaded Iraq in 2003 to topple Saddam Hussein. Iraqi leaders said that Zarqawi’s death was a major blow to Al Qaeda in Iraq but no one expects violence to end anytime soon. Al Qaeda in Iraq on Sunday vowed to carry out large-scale attacks to “shake the enemy” after Zarqawi’s death. Agencies.

The Quran Does Teach To Kill Those Who Won't Accept Islam

"Ali Ibn Abi Talib encountered a man called 'Umru and told him, `I indeed invite you to Islam.' 'Umru said, `I do not need that.' 'Ali said, Then I call you to fight.' (This was the same policy Muhammad used with those who rejected his invitation.) 'Umru answered him, `What for my nephew? By God, I do not like to kill you.' `Ali said, `But, by God, I love to kill you"' (ibn Hisham, "The Biography of the Prophet", part 3, p. 113; see also Al Road Al Anf part 3, p. 263).

Straight from the Quran, what it says about those who will not accept Islam.

3:85, If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).

8:39, And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere.

2:191, And slay them wherever ye catch them

2:193, And fight them on until there is no more Tumult or oppression

2:216, Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you

3:28, Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah

4:48Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed.” (I suppose this means that Allah forgives murder and slavery and pedophilia, but Allah will never forgive you not following him.)

4:84, Then fight in Allah’s cause - Thou art held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment.

4:141, And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers (A great claim, but has no basis in reality. Muslims seem to always get defeated in battle.)

5:33, The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

8:12, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them (Do you really want to claim that Islam does not incite terrorism?)

8:15-16, O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)!

8:17, It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah’s: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself

8:60, Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly. (Where is Allah’s reward? The 72 virgins in their heaven and the rivers of wine? It sure hasn't been manifested here on earth.)

8:65, O Prophet! rouse the Believers to the fight. If there are twenty amongst you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, they will vanquish a thousand of the Unbelievers (But this never happens in a real battle, just in acts of terrorism.)

9:5, But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem.

9:3, And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith.

9:14, Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers,

9:23, O ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong.

9:28, O ye who believe! Truly the Pagans are unclean; so let them not, after this year of theirs, approach the Sacred Mosque.

9:29, Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

9:39, Unless ye go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least.

9:73, O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell,- an evil refuge indeed.

9:111, Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Qur’an

9:123, O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

22:19-22; These two antagonists dispute with each other about their Lord: But those who deny (their Lord),- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire: over their heads will be poured out boiling water. With it will be scalded what is within their bodies, as well as (their) skins. In addition there will be maces of iron (to punish) them. Every time they wish to get away therefrom, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), “Taste ye the Penalty of Burning!” (Muslims claim there is no compulsion in Islam, yet you can see how Muhammed gained followers and kept them in this sura.)

25:52, So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them herewith with a great endeavour.

25:68 Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. “(But) the Penalty on the Day of Judgment will be doubled to him, and he will dwell therein in ignominy,

47:4, Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens.
48:13 And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire!

48:29, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other.

If anyone can still claim that the Quran teaches peace after reading those Suras, then you must truly be blind. In Muhammed’s cunning while forming this Evil Death Cult called Islam; he made sure to elevate himself to the level of Allah and to sentence to death any who would not blindly follow him. The same is true today. Muslims are not allowed to question Islam or its Clerics. If they are so bold as to do so, Sharia Law demands they be sentenced to death. Islam is just pure evil, if anyone can’t see that from these Suras or from the things muslims are doing today that prove they are following the Quran; all I can say is you are truly blind or have your head buried in the sands of denial.

The news coming out about the Justice of Zarqawi’s death just keep getting better and better. Now they are reporting that they found some leopard print lingerie at the bombing site where Zarqawi died. Everyone knows my sense of humor. I just keep getting visions in my head of Zarqawi dressed in that leopard print lingerie dancing around and singing “I Feel Pretty” and suddenly looks up and BOOM! 500 pounds of American Justice.

Anyway, I found this post on a Group I am a member of and thought I would share it with you guys. It is Zaraqwi Blogging from Paradise.

Zarqawi’s Blog From Paradise

Howzit swingin', fagsicles? Yeah, I know all you bitzoches all seen the pictures by now. Go on and laugh it up chump, like your drivers license photo is all George fuckin' Clooney. Personally I think I'm lookin' straight GQ, seeing as I just got a 500-pound laser guided curb stomp. Shit cuz, y'all should see Kahlid, a.k.a. "Ceiling Spackle." But, hey, whateva. You kuffar haters can finally step off my nuts, 'cause I. am. outtahere. Y'all can just suck it, 'cause Zarkman got his free pass to Allah's celestial Disneyland.

You think I didn't see this martyrdom goatshit coming? Cracka, please. When we were out in the boondocks filming that recruiting infomercial last month, I told that asshole Zawahiri that it was dangerous, that Team Satan would lock in on us with one of their outer space high tech computer gizmos. But nooooooo, he's all, "don't worry, they need an NSA warrant," and then he's like, "we have to attack the mindshare gap with a high GRP, Total Quality Jihad leadership marcom message." Which apparently means I have to stand there under Team Satan's goddamn spy satellites, yelling like the goddamn OxyClean guy, burning my goddamn hand on a goddamn machine gun barrel, while that goddamn director Omar Al-Spielberg asks for another goddamn take. Yeah, that's some world class marketing strategery there, Ayman. Best ad campaign since Pets.com. Have fun training all four of those Syrian droolers that it brought in.

So yeah, I figured I'd be caught in the next round of downsizing, so I started keeping myself prepared. For example, I shaved my junk every morning this week. Okay, I know what you're thinking: what the fizzuck? But trust me, it's in the Koran, and it's not as weird as it sounds. If you're about to be banging a room full of doe-eyed virgins, you're gonna want those nards Brazilian waxed pornstar style. Plus I guess them foxy heaven hos also appreciate a couple of splashes of cologne so they don't have to smell your stanky sack. It's just common martyr courtesy, and that's why around the AQ office we call Brut "the smell of death".

Pretty good in theory, I guess, but holy dung - you try keeping your nuts Kojak-ed with a 9-month old rusty Schick Quattro and your shaving hand all bandaged from gun barrel burn blisters. Faaack, I must have used up three styptic pencils just since Saturday. And when I slapped 'em with a splash of Hai Karate? Talk about a muthafuckin' STING. Mohammed H. Prophet, I think my scream hit two octaves above a dog whistle.

So anyhow, I got my bidness clean, I got my policy with Mutual of Medina paid up, I had a final family meeting with Fatima and the kids. "Are you going to paradise, Father?" says that teenaged one, what's-her-burqqa. "Yeah, but I'll have people watching out for you," I says. "So if you're even thinking about any of that clan dishonor shit, you better watch your back."

Okay, Thursday morning. I clock in at the office, pour a mug of tea, fire up the laptop and check out the latest posts on dKos. Sure, I've had my differences with them in the past. But with morale the way it is Allah knows we need a good laugh around here, and that shit is funnier than Homestar Runner. They had a new parody up, and I swear it had me roaring so hard I was on the verge of a shit hemorrhage. It had Kahlid laughing to the point of tears, and when he goes to wipe his good eye he almost puts it out with his hook, and then this makes Mahmoud squirt tea through his nose, and then this gets the whole damn office going. We're all just fucking roaring, when suddenly there's this silence, and then a funny high-pitched noise.

Tariq says, "did you just hear th..."

Now, back in the madrassa when we studied the afterlife, I always wondered what would be the last thing to go through my head. I'm pretty sure now it was one of Mahmoud's anklebones. And if you're wondering if it was painless? Imagine a full-frontal 800 degree root canal while listening to a Neil Young record. But hey, I figure no big whoop, just the admission price to heaven's eternal ho sammich.

So Zarkman walks toward the light. No shit, it's a lot like 2001: A Space Odyssey, but in 3-D quadrophonic sensurround. And BOOM, plop, I'm in this gigantic white room, completely empty except for this hooded faceless guy and a totally sweet 47" plasma screen. So I walk across the big empy room to the guy, and I'm like, there is but one God, and Mohammed is his messenger, death to the infidels, yada yada yada. So I'm waiting for him to punch my E-ticket for Magic Ho Mountain, when he whips out a DVD and pops it in. It's the director's cut of "This Is Your Life, Zarkman." Sure, there's a lot of blooper material in there, but also a pretty badass highlight reel -- the rapes, the murders, the IEDs, hour after hour of beheadings. Good times, man. Good times.

Anyhoo, he fast-forwards through the credits and the FBI warning, pulls out the DVD, and turns to me with an empty faceless stare. Dead fucking silence, like he's expecting me to say something. A couple minutes pass, and still Chatty Cathy isn't saying a word. So I'm like, "hey, bitch, you're welcome."

Okay, good, this finally gets the guy off the schneid. He points over to a door on the far side of the room that opens up, zwwwwippitch, just like the old Star Trek noise. It's a good thing too, 'cause my bald balls were turning blue from the thought of that fine ass ho-stack on the other side. Cracka, I got my fat horny Jordanian ass into a full trot across that room and did a dive-roll through that door like vintage Shatner.

When the door close behind me, zwwwwippitch, I guess you could say I was a little surprised, maybe a little disappointed. Turns out paradise is dumpier that you'd expect. A lot dumpier. In fact it's a lot like the Iraq boondocks; sandy, dusty, seemed like 150 degrees in the shade. I always figured paradise would have better climate control, but hey, Allah has the thermostat and He works in mysterious ways. I start looking around, and looking around. No virgins, no figs, no raisins. Now, I'm horny, hungry, and annoyed. Okay, I figure, I guess it's up to Zarkman to cherchez la poontang himself, so I start to walk down this dusty street, and BOOOM!

Get this: some asshole planted an IED right in the middle of goddamn downtown Paradise, and I take my first step right on the cocksucker. As I was flying through the air, I'm going, what the dung? It must have been planted by some Jew or Crusader, but how did one of those bastards slip into paradise in the first place? It was giving me a headache. Then I got another headache when the schoolbus ran over my head.

I was laying there trying to figure it out, when my various limbs and torsos and gonads and such started to reassemble, sort of like that liquid chrome cop in Terminator 2. Pretty cool, but it hurt like a mofo. So SPROING! I'm back on my feet, and start out again and BOOM! And I'm like, another fucking IED? I mean, what are the frigging odds? Then shhhklorrrp, bus over the head, reassemble SPROING. The next couple of hours was a blur of step- BOOM- shhhklorrrp - SPROING, lather-rinse-repeat, and I'm like, dude, fuck this shit. I had only made it 50 yards and wasn't all that horny anymore.

Anyway, I'm standing there trying to figure out my next step, when this badass crew of straightup masked assassins comes around the corner. Talk about a relief, I was beginning to wonder if Allah had made some sort of mistake. And I'm like, "yo, cuz, which way to the virgina?" Then the assholes start eying me up and down, lauging. And then I'm like, "come on, holmes, don't bogart the cooch," and then you know what those douchebags did? Throw a friggin' burqqa over my head and drag me into an abandoned warehouse. I'm goin' finally, some action.

I will spare you the ribald details, but let's just say after that 12 hour train bang I know how Marilyn Chambers felt after Behind the Green Door III. Dude, I can't even fart anymore, I hoot. And I'm so bowlegged they call me Hopalong. But, hey, I'm thinking it was just part of the Paradise Club for Martyrs initiation, because we sometimes did the same thing with AQ recruits. Not gay or anything, just to make sure the new jihadis knew who the boss was.

I pulled up my trou, and they were sitting there smoking cigs, and I'm like, okay homeslices, you had your fun, bring on the bitches. And then you know what the bastards did? Pull out the scimitars and start slicing off my fargin' head. What the flock??? If you've never been beheaded, let me clue you in: it. hurts. like. a. muthafuka. And being the ball in an alley pickup soccer game is no picnic either. Man, I'm telling you, you Omega Q-dogs ain't got shit compared to this initiation ceremony.

Anyway, they just got my head half sewed-back on, and broke for lunch. Right now I'm at some shitty internet cafe. Nothing but AOL dial-up, and for some reason the the only sites I can access are HuffPo and Iowahawk, and nothing but Dixie Chicks on the jukebox. I ordered the raisin & date plate, but I'm pretty sure that ain't dried fruit.

Gotta go soon, I guess I'm scheduled for some more beheadings after lunch. Just between us, I'd have to say that so far Paradise has overrated. Don't get me wrong, Allahu Akbar, blah blah blah. But if this initiation thing doesn't end soon, I'm thinking about filling out a complaint form.

In the meantime, I'm trying to keep thinking positive. It's been a little rough here so far, but at least I haven't noticed a single Marine.

Peace Out,
Zarkman

Gotta Love Poetic Justice

Al Quaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was found alive by Iraqi police and U.S. forces who arrived at the scene of the bombing raid near Baqouba, a U.S. official told FOX News on Friday.

"Zarqawi was alive when U.S. forces arrived on the site," Maj. Gen. William Caldwell said in a satellite interview from Iraq. "The Iraqi police arrived first, they found him in the rubble, put him on a gurney of some type."

Caldwell, the chief U.S. military spokesman in Iraq, said Zarqawi tried to roll off the gurney to escape once he became aware of the fact that he was being taken into custody by coalition troops Wednesday night after two 500-pound precision guided bombs blew up his safehouse near Baqouba.

U.S. forces immediately made a visual identification of Zarqawi but were unable to interrogate him because he died of his injuries "shortly after" being pulled from the rubble, Caldwell said.
Caldwell indicated that U.S. troops "went into the process to provide medical care to him" before he expired. He did not elaborate on the medical assistance.

The U.S. military earlier had displayed images of the battered face of Zarqawi and reported that he had been identified by fingerprints, tattoos and scars. Biological samples from his body also were delivered to an FBI crime laboratory in Virginia for DNA testing. The results were expected in three days.

American, British, Iraqi and possibly Jordanian intelligence were all involved in tracking down the notorious terror mastermind based on tips from senior leaders in Zarqawi’s own network.
Information gathered from the bombing site led to 17 subsequent raids. An additional 39 raids were conducted overnight but not all of them were directly associated with intelligence gained from the bombing, Gen. Caldwell said.

al-Zarqawi Dead

The leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, has been killed in a US-led air raid.
Al-Zarqawi was seen as the leader of the Sunni insurgency which has been blamed for the deaths of hundreds of Shias and US forces in Iraq.

"Zarqawi personally beheaded American hostages and other civilians in Iraq," President of the United States, George Bush said. "Now Zarqawi has met his end and this violent man will never murder again."

Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was not a global mastermind like al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. Instead he was a bloodthirsty and violent thug, who made enemies and several mistakes that might have contributed to his downfall.

These included ordering a triple suicide bombing against hotels in Amman, Jordan, last November, that killed 60 people.

I have been reading where some people are crying that al-Zarqawi should not have been killed but should have stood trial. I say, “Bollocks!” Some people are so evil they no longer are human and there is no hope or any other solution than for them to be killed.

Whether this is a breakthrough in Iraq remains to be seen. Reports are that this raid that killed al-Zaqawi resulted in 17 simultaneous raids in Baghdad. Let's all hope this is the turn around we need in Iraq.

Monitor The Mosques!!

This is excerpts from a Commentary I read on WorldNetDaily by Benjamin Shapiro.

Monitor the mosques! By Benjamin Shapiro - On June 2 and 3, Canadian law enforcement in Toronto arrested 17 Muslim men for planning terrorist attacks on Canadian targets. The leader of the group, Qayyum Abdul Jamal, 43, recruited young Muslim males by speaking at Al-Rahman Islamic Center for Islamic Education, a storefront mosque in Mississauga. Law enforcement officials across the globe are searching for suspects connected to the Toronto 17; American law enforcement has already discovered at least two terrorism suspects who spoke with members of the Canadian terrorist cell.

In May 2004, London authorities arrested hook-handed, one-eyed imam Abu Hamza al-Masri. The United States immediately filed charges against al-Masri and asked that Britain expedite him for trial. Among other terrorist acts, the indictment charged al-Masri with attempting to set up a terrorist cell in Oregon. Al-Masri was also linked to terrorists Zacarias Moussaoui, who was involved in the Sept. 11 plot, and Richard Reid (a.k.a. Tariq Raja and Abdul Rahim), the shoebomber. Al-Masri was the imam of the Finsbury Park Mosque in London, where he used his pulpit to recruit terrorists and preach hate.

In September 2002, American law enforcement arrested six members of a larger terrorist cell in Buffalo, N.Y. All six were young Muslim men, and all six had attended terrorist training in Afghanistan. The leader of the group, Kamal Derwish, had recruited all the arrested members by speaking at his local mosque in Lackawanna. All six men pled guilty to terrorism charges.

Mohamed Atta, one of the Sept. 11 hijackers, used a mosque in Hamburg, Germany, to network with potential recruits, including Ramzi Binalshibh, who would act as a coordinator for the attacks. Two of the potential Sept. 11 terrorists, Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar, hooked up with an imam at Rabat Mosque, Anwar Aulaqi; Aulaqi would later aid al-Hazmi and Mihdhar's replacement, Hani Hanjour, in relocating east as Sept. 11 approached.

Muslims Clerics do use their mosques to teach hatred and to recruit terrorists. How can the Liberals and Political Correct Crowd not see this? It is beyond me how they can keep burying their heads in the sand and refuse to see this. Do they hate our Country and its Citizens so much they are willing to lose our Freedoms and many life’s just for the sake of Political Correctness? It seems to me that they do. When do we actually try to put a stop to the evil teachings of Islam and Sharia Law. What will it take to end this madness? When will we say enough is enough? I hope we won’t take a stand when it is too late. I hope we don’t have to suffer another 9/11 to wake up. The time is now to act.

Some of the pre-Islamic Sources for material in the Quran

Arabian Sources

The Quran repeats fanciful Arabian fables as if they were true.

"Arabic legends about the fabulous jinns fill its pages" (G.G. Pfander, Balance of Truth, pp. 283).

"The story of the she-camel who leapt out of a rock and became a prophet was known long before Muhammad" (Suras 7:73-77,85; 91:14; 54:29).

The story of an entire village of people who were turned into apes because they broke the sabbath by fishing was a popular legend in Muhammad's day (Suras 2:65; 7:163-166).

The gushing 12 springs story found in Sura 2:60 comes from pre-Islamic legends.

In what is called the "Rip Van Winkle" story, seven men and their animals slept for 309 years in a cave and then woke up perfectly fine (Sura 18:9-26)!

This legend is found in Greek and Christian fables as well as Arabian lore.

The fable of the pieces of four dead, cut-up birds getting up and flying was well known in Muhammad's time (Sura 2:260).

It is also clear that Muhammad used such pre-Islamic literature as the Saba Moallaqat of Imra'ul Cays in his composition of Suras 21:96; 29:31,46; 37:59; 54:1, and 93:1.

Jewish Sources

Many of the stories in the Quran come from the Jewish Talmud, the Midrash, and many apocryphal works.

This was pointed out by Abraham Geiger in 1833, and further documented by another Jewish scholar, Dr. Abraham Katsh, of New York University, in 1954 (The Concise Dictionary of Islam, p. 229; Jomier, The Bible and the Quran -- Henry Regency Co., Chicago, 1959, 59ff; Sell, Studies, pp. 163ff.; Guillaume, Islam, p. 13).

1. The source of Sura 3:35-37 is the fanciful book called The Protevangelion's James the Lesser.

2. The source of Sura 87:19 is the Testament of Abraham.

3. The source of Sura 27:17-44 is the Second Targum of Esther.

4. The fantastic tale that God made a man "die for a hundred years" with no ill effects on his food, drink, or donkey was a Jewish fable (Sura 2:259ff.).

5. The idea that Moses was resurrected and other material came from the Jewish Talmud (Sura 2:55, 56, 67).

6. The story in Sura 5:30,31 can also be found in pre-Islamic works from Pirke Rabbi Eleazer, the Targum of Jonathan ben Uzziah and the Targum of Jerusalem.

7. The tale of Abraham being delivered from Nimrod's fire came from the Midrash Rabbah (see Suras 21:51-71; 29:16, 17; 37:97,98).

It must be also pointed out that Nimrod and Abraham did not live at the same time. Muhammad was always mixing people together in the Quran who did not live at the same time.

8. The non-biblical details of the visit of the Queen of Sheba (Saba) in Sura 27:20-44 came from the Second Targum of the Book of Esther.

9. The source of Sura 2:102 is no doubt the Midrash Yalkut (chapter 44).

10. The story found in Sura 7:171 of God lifting up Mount Sinai and holding it over the heads of the Jews as a threat to squash them if they rejected the law came from the Jewish book Abodah Sarah.

11. The story of the making of the golden calf in the wilderness, in which the image jumped out of the fire fully formed and actually mooed (Suras 7:148; 20:88), came from Pirke Rabbi Eleazer.

12. The seven heavens and hells described in the Quran came from the Zohar and the Hagigah.

13. Muhammad utilized the Testament of Abraham to teach that a scale or balance will be used on the day of judgment to weigh good and bad deeds in order to determine whether one goes to heaven or hell (Suras 42:17; 101:6-9).

Heretical Christian Sources

One of the most documented and damaging facts about the Quran is that Muhammad used heretical "Christian" Gnostic gospels and their fables for material in the Quran.

Encyclopedia Britannica comments:

"The gospel was known to him chiefly through apocryphal and heretical sources" (15:648).
This has been demonstrated many times by various scholars (Richard Bell, Introduction to the Quran, pp. 163ff. See also: Bell, The Origin of Islam in Its Christian Environment, pp. 110ff, 139ff; Sell, Studies, pp. 216ff. See also Tisdall and Pfander).

For example, in Suras 3:49 and 100:11O, the baby Jesus speaks from the cradle! Later on, the Quran has Jesus making clay birds come alive.

The Bible tells us that the first miracle Jesus did was at the wedding at Cana (John 2:11).

Sabean Sources

Muhammad derived some of his ideas from Eastern religions such as Zoroastrianism and Hinduism. All of these things were in existence long before Muhammad was born.

The Quran records the following things which are ascribed to Muhammad but in reality were previously known stories now attributed to him for the first time (Sell, Studies, pp. 219ff.).

The story of a flying trip through seven heavens.

The Houries of paradise.

Azazil and other spirits coming up from Hades.

The "light" of Muhammad.

The bridge of Sirat.

Paradise with its wine, women, and song (from the Persians).

The king of death.

The peacock story.

No Original Copies Of The Quran

As to the claim that the original manuscript of the Quran is still in existence, we have already pointed out there was no single "manuscript" of the Quran.

Caesar Farah in his book on Islam, states:

"When Muhammad died there existed no singular codex of the sacred text" (Caesar Farah, Islam: Beliefs and Observations, New York; Barrons, 1987, p. 28).

The Shorter Encyclopedia off Islam comments:

"One thing only is certain and is openly recognized by tradition, namely, that there was not in existence any collection of revelations in the final form, because, as long as he was alive, new revelations were being added to the earlier ones" (p. 271).

Some Verses Added

Not only have parts of the Quran been lost, but entire verses and chapters have been added to it.

For example, Ubai had several Suras in his manuscript of the Quran which Uthman omitted from his standardized text.

Thus there were Qurans in circulation before Uthman's text which had additional revelations from Muhammad that Uthman did not find or approve of, and thus he failed to place them in his text. KK

Some Verses Abrogated

In the abrogation process spoken of earlier, verses which are contradictory to Muslim faith and practice have been removed from the text, such as the "satanic verses" in which Muhammad approved of the worship of the three goddesses, the daughters of Allah.

The Arabic scholar E. Wherry comments:

"There being some passages in the Quran which are contradictory, the Muhammadan doctors obviate any objection from thence by the doctrine of abrogation; for they say that God in the Quran commanded several things which were for good reasons afterwards revoked and abrogated" (A Comprehensive Commentary on the Qurun, p. 110).

Wherry goes on to document numerous examples of verses taken out of the Quran.
Canon Sell in his work, Historical Development of the Quran, also comments on the practice of abrogating verses out of the Quran if they are troublesome:

"It is to us astounding how so compromising a procedure can have been permitted to be introduced into the system by friends and foes (Madras: Diocesan Press, 1923, pp. 36-37).

Changes in the Quran

One interesting way that some off the original verses of the Quran were lost is that a follower of Muhammad named Abdollah Sarh would make suggestions to Muhammad about rephrasing, adding to, or subtracting from the Suras. Muhammad often did as Sarh suggested.

Ali Dashti explains what happened:

"Abdollah renounced Islam on the ground that the revelations, if from God, could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as he. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites" (Dashti, 23 Years, p. 98).

It is no wonder that when Muhammad conquered Mecca one of the first people he killed was Abdollah, for he knew too much and opened his mouth too often.

Some Verses Missing

According to Professor Guillaume in his book, Islam, (pp. 191ff.), some of the original verses of the Quran were lost.

For example, one Sura originally had 200 verses in the days of Ayesha. But by the time Uthman standardized the text of the Quran, it had only 73 verses! A total of 127 verses had been lost, and they have never been recovered.

The Shiite Muslims claim that Uthman left out 25 percent of the original verses in the Quran for political reasons (McClintock and Strong, Cyclopedia, V:152).

That there are verses which got left out of Uthman's version of the Quran is universally recognized (Shorter Encyclopedia off Islam, pp. 278-282; Guillaume, Islam, p. 191; Wherry, A Comprehensive Commentary on the Quran, pp. 110-111).

John Burton's book, The Collection of the Quran, which was published by Cambridge University, documents how such verses were lost (London University Press, 1977, pp. 117ff. See also Arthur Jeffery, Islam: Muhammad and His Religion, New York; Liberal Arts Press, 1958, pp. 66-68).
Burton states concerning the Muslim claim that the Quran is perfect:

"The Muslin accounts of the history of the Quran texts are a mass of confusion, contradiction and inconsistencies" (Burton, Collection, p. 231).

Many Variant Readings of the Quran

Muslims attack the Bible on the grounds that it sometimes has conflicting wording from different manuscripts. Yet this is exactly the case with the text of the Quran. There are many conflicting readings on the text of the Quran as Arthur Jeffery has demonstrated in his book, Material for the History of the Text of the Quran (New York, Russell F. Moore, 1952).
At one point Jeffery gives 90 pages of variant readings on the text. For example, in Sura 2 there are over 140 conflicting and variant readings on the text of the Quran.

All Western and Muslim scholars admit the presence of variant readings in the text of the Quran (Dashti, 23 Years, p. 28; Mandudi, Meaning of the Quran, pp. 17-18; McClintock and Strong, Cyclopedia, V152).

Guillaume points out that the Quran at first "had a large number of variants, not always trifling in significance" (Islam, p. 189).

"It is interesting to note that in scholarly Muslim journals, there is beginning to be a grudging acknowledgment of the fact that there are variant and conflicting readings on the text of the Quran" (One example would be Saleh al-Wahaihu, "A Study of Seven Quranic Variants," International Journal of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Vol. V (1989), #2, pp. 1-57).
