Christian churches in the Middle East are vandalized, a Catholic nun in Africa is killed and Muslims have demanded that the pope convert to Islam – all because he read a quote from a medieval text that described Islam as "evil and inhuman."

The pope has issued an apology for even referencing the historic text, emphasized that those views are not his, but still many in the Islamic world are demanding blood.

A new group called "The sword of Islam" contacted reporters and said it had fired gunshots at a Christian church in the Middle East during a demonstration over the comments.

We want to make it clear that if the pope does not appear on TV and apologize for his comments, we will blow up all of Gaza's churches," the group said in a report.

And now, a report in the Jerusalem Post said that Muslim religious leaders in the Gaza Strip are warning the pope that he must "accept" Islam if he wanted to live in peace.

Yes, Muslims are now demanding that the Pope convert to Islam or there will be no Peace in the world. What kind of crack are you Muslims smoking? Some respect for other religions to demand the Head of the Catholic Church become Muslim. You Muslims are exhibiting more and more of the Insanity that is called Islam every day.

The Muslim Should Appolgize To The Christians For Their Crimes Agaisnt Christians!

I was talking to my Coptic friend today. He was telling me about how Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi is on Egyptian TV calling for all Muslims to take to the streets in protest Friday, September 22 for what Pope Benedict VXI said last week. My friend was expressing concern that if the Muslims take to the streets on Friday that attacks will be made on the Christian Churches there. He was telling me a conversation he had had with a Muslim recently over this whole situation. The Muslim man told my Coptic friend that the Pope should apologize for his statement. My friend told that Muslim man that the Muslims should apologize for the things they have done throughout history to Christians.

First of all, I would like to tell Muslims, if you don’t like being called violent then why are you reacting with violence? All you have succeeded in doing is showing the world that the things the Pope said about you are the truth. You have now burned 6 churches in Palestine and killed a nun in the Sudan. A nun who had devoted her life to helping you. Some gratitude! But so typical of the things you do, Muslims.

But my friend was right, you Muslims owe the Christians an apology for all the things you have said and done to insult and persecute Christians. Shall we go over some of the things you Muslims have done to Christians just since beginning of the 20th Century?

1) 1.5 million Armenian Christians and Syraic Christians (Assyrians) died during the Young Turk government of the Ottoman Empire between 1915 and 1917. The event, which became known as the Armenian Genocide, is considered the first genocide of the 20th Century.

2) Many Assyrians have fled from the Middle East during the last 100 years, most notably during the World War 1. Many died in what some call the Assyrian Genocide. There is however neither verifiable figures for this nor proof that they were targeted as such like for the Armenian Genocide. As some Assyrians had joined pro-British or pro-Russian military forces it is possible, but not specifically documented as such, that the Ottoman authorities specifically retaliated against Assyrian civilians in order to massacre and annihilate them, which would make it an Assyrian Genocide.

3) There is an abundance of evidence since the early 1990s of oppression and persecution of Christians, including by Sudan's own Sudan Human Rights Organization, which in mid-1992 reported on forcible closure of churches, expulsion of priests, forced displacement of populations, forced Islamisation and Arabisation, and other repressive measures of the Government. In 1994 it also reported on widespread torture, ethnic cleansing and crucifixion of pastors. Pax Christi has also reported on detailed cases in 1994, as has Africa Watch. Roman Catholic bishop Macram Max Gassis, Bishop of El Obeid, also reported to the Fiftieth Session of the UN Commission on Human Rights, in Geneva, in February 1994 on accounts of widespread destruction of hundreds of churches, forced conversions of Christians to Islam, concentration camps, genocide of the Nuba people, systematic rape of women, enslavement of children, torture of priests and clerics, burning alive of pastors and catechists, crucifixion and mutilation of priests. The foregoing therefore serves to indict the Sudanese Government itself for flagrant violations of human rights and religious freedom.

In addition, it is estimated that over 1.5 million Christians have been killed by the Sudanese army, the Janjaweed, and even suspected Islamists in northern Sudan since 1984.

4) Oct. 28, 2001 - Lahore, Pakistan - Islamic militants killed 15 Christians at a church. On September 25, 2002 two terrorists entered the "Peace and Justice Institute", Karachi. They separated Muslims from the Christians, and then executed eight Christians by shooting them in the head.

5) 1998 – 500 Christian churches burned down in Java, Indonesia.

6) November, 1998 – 22 churches in Jakarta, Indonesia are burned down 13 Christians killed.

7) Christmas Day 1998 - 180 homes and stores owned by Christians are destroyed in Poso, Central Sulawisi, Indonesia.

8) Easter 2000 – 800 homes and stores owned by Christians are destroyed in Poso Central Salawesi, Indonesia.

9) May 23 2000 – Christians fight back against a Muslim mob in Indonesia. 700 people die.

10) June 2001 the Laskar Jihad declares Jihad against Christians in Indonesia. Muslim citizens are recruited by the thousands to exterminate Christians.

11) October 29, 2005 - 3 school girls were found beheaded near Poso. The girls, students of Central Sulawesi Christian Church, were killed by 6 unidentified assailants while on their way to class.

12) In Saudi Arabia, Christians are arrested and lashed in public for practicing their faith openly. Bibles and other non-Muslim religious books are captured, piled up and burned by the religious police of Saudi. No non-Muslims are allowed to become Saudi citizens. Prayer services by Christians are frequently broken up by the police and the Christians are arrested and tortured without even allowing them to be released on bail. People who convert to Christianity can officially be executed, although this has not in fact been done in many years.

13) In Egypt, the government does not officially recognize conversions from Islam to Christianity; because certain interfaith marriages are not allowed either, this prevents marriages between converts to Christianity and those born in Christian communities, and also results in the children of Christian converts being classified as Muslims and given a Muslim education. The government also requires permits for repairing churches or building new ones, which are often withheld. Foreign missionaries are allowed in the country only if they restrict their activities to social improvements and refrain from proselytizing. The Coptic Pope Shenouda III was internally exiled in 1981 by President Anwar Sadat, who then chose five Coptic bishops and asked them to choose a new pope. They refused, and in 1985 President Hosni Mubarak restored Pope Shenouda III, who had been accused of fomenting interconfessional strife. Particularly in Upper Egypt, the rise in extremist Islamist groups such as the Gama’at Islamiva during the 1980s was accompanied by attacks on Copts and on Coptic churches; these have since declined with the decline of those organizations, but still continue. The police have been accused of siding with the attackers in some of these cases.

And we all have heard of the attacks on Christian Churches starting back in January by Islamic mobs when a 9 year old boy was killed to the attacks on Coptic churches on Good Friday.

14) Muslims kidnapping Coptic girls in Egypt and raping them and forcing them to convert to Islam with threat of death to their families.

15) There have been anti-Christian incidents carried out in areas governed by the Palestinian Authority. Some claim that this represents a pattern of deliberate mistreatment by the Palestinian Muslims. And over the weekend the burning of 6 Churches in Palestine.

16) Though Iran recognizes Christians as a religious minority (along with Jews and Zoroastrians) after the Revolution, Muslim converts to Christianity have been arrested and often executed.

17) In the Philippines, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and Abu Sayyaf has attacked and killed Christians.

18) Abdul Rahman, a 41 year old Afghan citizen, was charged in Afghanistan with rejecting Islam (apostasy), a crime punishable by death under Sharia Law. He has since been released into exile in the West under intense pressure from Western governments.

Not to mention how Muslims always insult Christians:

1) Muslims say that Jesus is a human when he is the Christian God.

2) Muslims say that the Christian Holy Book the Bible is corrupted and written by Human hands and not God’s Words.

3) Muslims call Christians and Jews Pigs and Monkeys.

4) Muslims say The Koran and the Hadiths command Muslims to kill Christians and Jews.

5) Muslims make movies that have scenes depicting Christian women as sluts and whores and even have Christians having sex in their Churches. And having scenes of Muslims urinating on pictures of Jesus.

And the list goes on and on. This is just the tip of the Iceberg of Islamic insults to crimes against Christians. WHERE IS THE APPOLOGY FROM THE MUSLIMS? The silence is deafening.

Should the Pope Appologize? NO!

Speaking in Germany, the Pope quoted a 14th Century Christian emperor who said the Prophet Muhammad had brought the world only "evil and inhuman" things.

The remarks have angered clerics and commentators around the Muslim world.
(Read story here.)

Yet Muslims can threaten to kill the Pope or anyone else and it is ok with Muslims. They have been rioting over this too. Yet they scream Islam is peace. No, if Islam were peace you wouldn’t make death threats or riot because someone said something you don’t like. But the thing that is really terrible about all of this is the fact that what the Pope said is the truth. And it seems like Muslims get the most enraged when someone tells the truth about Islam. Muslims are always screaming don’t insult Islam or me, yet they keep doing awful things and then get mad when someone tells the truth about it. Muslims constantly insult Christians, Jews and Hindus. But they expect us to sit back and do nothing.I have a friend who was in a Muslim chat room recently and one Muslim was being very rude to her and was saying a lot of disgusting things to her so she put him on ignore. Well that Muslim man promptly called her on the peer to peer calling on Yahoo Messenger and left her a voice message screaming at her and threatening to kill her. Just for putting him on ignore? Yet this is the mind set of these Muslims. Islam is just evil. It makes Muslims do evil things. When will the world wake up and see this? When will we put our foot down and say enough is enough? If Muslims do not want to have people telling the truth about them, then they shouldn’t be doing the evil things they are doing. If they actually respected other religions like they say they do, then they wouldn’t be insulting other religions. If Islam were really peace they wouldn’t be burning the Pope in effigy. Should the Pope apologize? NO! You should never apologize for telling the truth. EVER!

As I sit here and reflect on the Fifth Anniversary of the September 11 attacks on our Country by Coward Islamic Fascist Terrorists, I think this video says it all. This is my Tribute to all the Heroes of that Day and of every day as our Troops continue to fight for our Freedom. Radical Islam wished to bring America to her knees that day but they under estimated the Strength and Spirit in the Hearts of Americans. You thought we were weak, because we have been blessed as Islam can never bless you. But you were wrong, you are still wrong. America is still strong and the Strength of Freedom will always beat in our hearts because every day people in America when faced with true adversity will always rise to the task and become Heroes. Don't forget to kiss your Hero today!

News And Other Thoughts

In the news today:

ABC Terrorism Drama Stirs Controversy - A five-hour miniseries that dramatizes a decade's worth of events leading up to the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, this film is plenty gripping. It doesn't forgo artistry for polemics.

Airing commercial-free on ABC Sunday and Monday at 8 p.m. EDT (with a 9/11-related followup from ABC News at 10 p.m. Monday), the miniseries claims to draw from a number of sources, including the 2004 report of the 9/11 Commission, which was established to investigate government missteps that led to the attacks.
(Read the story

It seems the Clinton Adminstration is having a panic attack and trying its best to do damage control over this ABC Docudrama and former President Clinton is demanding that ABC pull the Drama. (Read stories
here and here.)

In the mean time, Iranian President is planning a trip to the USA to speak at the UN. (Read about it
here.)

Bush Vows to Use All Anti-Terror Tools - A day after President Bush acknowledged for the first time that the CIA runs secret prisons overseas, he told an Atlanta audience that he would continue to use all tools available to combat al-Qaida and terrorists determined to attack the United States.
"I will continue using every element of national power to pursue our enemies and prevent attacks on the United States of America," Bush said Thursday.
(Read story
here.)

An then President Bush proceeded to outline foiled Terrorist Plots:

- In 2002, officials disrupted a plot by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, to crash hijacked airplanes into targets on the U.S. West Coast.

-In mid-2004, officials discovered a plan to bomb urban targets in the United Kingdom.

-Terrorists involved in a well-advanced plot to attack targets in Karachi, Pakistan, were detained in the spring of 2003.

-A plan to use hijacked commercial airplanes to attack London's Heathrow Airport was disrupted in 2003.
(Read the rest here.)

And the “No Compulsion” of Islam continues on: Mohammed Taha Mohammed Ahmed, editor-in-chief of the private daily Al-Wifaq was kidnapped by masked gunmen and found later beheaded. What was his crime? He spoke out against and questioned the evil things done in the name of Islam. (Read
here.)

Yet Muslims continue to tell the world that Islam is Tolerant and Peaceful. I think not!!!

So are we safer today than we were before 9/11? I don’t really know, but we are more informed and we are more alert. That is something that is better than before. But are we making any progress in the War on Terror? And why do we call it a War on Terror anyway? Ninety had it right on his Blog today. It is a War on Islam. But it is not a War we wanted or asked for. Islam has declared War on the West and until we wake up and realize this will we ever defeat this threat to our very existence?

Reflections On Terrorism

I went to visit the Oklahoma City Memorial today. It was the first time I have been back down there since they built the Memorial. I had been down there right after the bombing before they imploded the building and again to the fence; but not to the Memorial. I guess I just wasn’t ready to go back down there until today because of all the painful memories of that day when Oklahoma lost her innocence at 9:02 A.M. Yes, I know a lot of you are going to say things like, “Well Oklahoma City was not as bad as 9/11” or “Oklahoma City was Domestic Terrorism.” Well yes, I realize it wasn’t anything like 9/11 and that Tim McVeigh was an American. (Even though it is believed that he had a Middle East connection.) The fact remains that Terrorism is Terrorism and Oklahoma City was my home when I was growing up and Oklahoma is my state.

As I sit here and reflect on what I experienced today, I can’t help but think about Lost Innocence, Terrorism, Lost Life and the way The World Has Chanced Forever. Walking around down there today just brought back so many memories, good and bad. The place where the YMCA stood is now a parking lot. I remember walking by that building with my Grandmother when I was a child. The church with the pretty stained glass windows that were damaged in the blast across the street to the East of where the Alfred P. Murrah building once stood is still there and has a Prayer Garden for people to go and pray in.

As you walk into the Memorial, you can feel a solemn hush fall on you and all who are there. It says on the entrance, “WELCOME HERE TO REMEMBER THOSE WHO WERE KILLED, THOSE WHO SURVIVED AND THOSE CHANGED FOREVER. MAY ALL WHO LEAVE HERE KNOW THE IMPACT OF VIOLENCE. MAY THIS MEMORIAL OFFER COMFORT, STRENGTH, PEACE, HOPE AND SERENITY.”

It is such a peaceful place now, nothing like the sights and sound and smell it was on that fateful day in April. As I went in to hunt the chair of my childhood friend and I read the names of those who died on the chairs and I tried not to let it break my heart; all the small chairs of the children who died in the Day Care Center. The rows of the chairs reflect the floor of the building each person was on when the bomb went off. I finally found my friend’s chair in the 3rd row. She worked at the Credit Union. They said they found her purse still sitting under her desk. I have so many memories like that.

I walked up the steps to the Survivor Tree, and turned to look back down onto the Reflecting Pool and the Chairs. It says there on that wall, “The spirit of this City and Nation will not be defeated, our deeply rooted faith sustains us.” Those words mean so much and speak so much for the Spirit of the people of America.

Terrorists want to take all that we hold dear away from us. Yet just as Timothy McVeigh underestimated the American Spirit; Al-Qaeda and the 9/11 Terrorists have too. Recently I watched the movie Flight 93. The people on that hijacked airplane turned the tables on the Terrorists and fought back and probably not only saved our Capital Building but many lives too. They were willing to give their lives so that others might live. I remember the day of the Oklahoma City Bombing that people ran to the Murrah building to help not away from it. That is the American Spirit that Terrorist want to take from us but never can.

On one hand my heart is heavy at all that was lost on April 19, 1995 and even on September 11, 2001. And while I lost my Innocence on April 19, 1995 and many other Americans did on September 11, 2001, we have not lost our Resolve and never will. So I will just leave it with the words that hit me so hard today written on the Journal Records building by Team 5 of the Resuce workers:

Team 5

4-19-95

We Search For the Truth.

We Seek Justice.

The Courts Demand it.

The Victims Cry for it.

And GOD Demands it.
